Wow, excellent video!!
Just an awesome presentation and so very current! I highly recommend this!
very cool
Nice their should be lots of solar energy?
Bravo to the Trustees for placing this technology within easy reach of passer's by, a marvelous juxtaposition to the high-voltage lines which scar the landscape for hundreds of miles a short distance from the panels. Decentralized energy production using passive generators are commonplace in Europe, sadly missing on this continent, and there resulting in both a dramatic reduction in GHGs and the proliferation of industrial generation sites of colossal proportion which ruin veiw-sheds on an even grander scale. I spent considerable time as a boy within a few hundred yards of the Moose Hill panels and I was delighted on my nostalgic drive-by today to see an example of conservationists who are truly forward thinking in a manner which I think must be consistent with the worldview which motivated the assembly of the reservation parcels in the first place. Hurrah!
These solar panels are very close to the road, Moose Hill Street, and look quite ugly from that perspective. They are at a bend in the road that goes downhill, and particularly if you're coming uphill from the other direction you get a very close and unattractive view of the undersides of these massive panels. It really mars the whole feel of the surroundings, which are rural and picturesque (old stone walls, fields, trees, etc.). I'm all for solar panels and don't remember ever finding them ugly before, but this installation is really regrettable. Don't know why the Trustees didn't place them elsewhere on the property, well away from the street, out of respect for the feel of the neighborhood.
You are incredibly beautiful :)
